Sleeping - Camp this year has new sleeping options, from rustic cabins with bunk beds, to rooms in a farmhouse.
-
Sleeping accommodations will not be assigned in advance, except for those with specific mobility or accessibility needs. When you arrive, you will choose from the available sleeping spaces on a first-come, first-served basis.
-
All sleeping spaces require you to bring your own bedding, such as a sleeping bag, sheets and blankets, pillow, and any other sleep comforts you need. Mattresses are provided in all spaces, but no linens or bedding are supplied.
-
Evenings and early mornings can be chilly, especially in open-air cabins or hammock setups. Please plan accordingly by bringing warm layers, extra blankets, or a cold-weather sleeping bag to ensure your comfort.
Terrain - This year's camp is a well maintained property. So while there will be walking trails vs. the forest floor we're used too, the trails are still a bit rugged and can be uneven and steep in spots. There are a bunch of cabins scattered around drive-able “roads” and have easy access to the farmhouse. The total land elevation from lakeside to the upper fields is about 300-400 feet
Sanitation - Indoor flush toilets and showers are available in the farmhouse in addition to composting outhouses and outdoor shower facilities sprinkled throughout the cabin area.
Cell Reception & Wi-Fi - Cell phone reception is very limited. However, unlike past camps, there is Wi-Fi access available. We encourage folks to unplug as much as possible and be present with the camp experience, while trusting everyone to use their best judgment around their connectivity needs.
Non-Camp Folks on Site - Since we’re renting a facility this year that’s also home to some folks who live and work on site, there will be some non-trans masc folks present. While they won’t be participating in camp programming, you may see them around and interact with them, especially those who are part of the kitchen crew helping prepare our meals. Camp spaces will still be just for us!
Cancellation & Refund Policy - We understand that plans can change, and we’ll do our best to work with you. Please review our policy below:
-
Full Refunds: If you cancel at least 14 days before camp starts, you’ll receive a full refund (minus any processing fees).
-
Within 2 Weeks of Camp: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 14 days of camp - unless we’re able to fill your spot from our waitlist or you find someone to take your place.
If we can fill your spot, we will refund you up to the amount we’re able to recover from the replacement camper (minus any processing fees).
-
For example: If you paid $900 and your replacement registers at the BIPOC reparations rate of $10, your refund would reflect that $10 (minus fees).
We recognize the wide range in registration rates reflects our values around economic justice and community care, and we do our best to apply our refund policy in a way that’s fair to both the camper and the sustainability of camp.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer credits toward future camps for this year.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (email is fine).
